Guillotine

Stack cutters and guillotines are both types of manual paper cutters. Manual paper cutters are the most cost effective and perfect for smaller cutting jobs. A basic guillotine can cut through 10 to 50 sheets of regular stock paper at a time. A ream cutter or stack cutter is better suited for larger cutting jobs or cutting through higher stock paper since they are able to slice through 200 to 800 sheets of regular stock paper at a time. Most commonly guillotines are found in offices, schools and print shops. Some guillotines have a measuring grid on them to ensure a uniform cut each time. Take into consideration what you are cutting and how many sheets you would be cutting at a time when selecting the stack cutter or guillotine that is right for you.
