If you are doing a large scale lamination you would want to consider a heat roll laminator. The most popular heat roll laminators consist of 2 rolls of lamination film that are coated with glue or an adhesive that melts under heat and then a heated roll press. If the heat roll laminator does not have the lamination film rolls mounted on it you will need to sandwich your printed material between 2 sheets of film and pass it through the heated roller machine. Heat roll laminators are preferred for the speed at which things can be laminated and also because of their cost. Heat roll laminators can sometimes cost almost half as much as a cold roll laminator since they are cheaper to produce. Since printing jobs come in all sizes the laminators are also available in different sized. Please ensure to read all instructions for your laminator as it might have certain safety precautions and advice on how to get your laminations to come out the best possible way.
